      Common questions

How long will these foods keep?

Stored sealed in a cool, dry, dark place, our dried and freeze-dried foods keep for years. Check the dates printed on the bottom corners of each label, and rotate older pouches into everyday cooking.

Why do I still need rice and oats?

Vegetables and fruit are nutrient-dense but light on calories. Inexpensive grains supply most of the energy in any 30-day plan, so we list exactly how much to buy at the store.

Where do these numbers come from?

Servings, calories, and protein come straight from each product's nutrition label. Quantities assume about 25 g of dried vegetables, 15 g of dried fruit, and 70 g of instant beans per adult per day, scaled by your household and stocking level. Children count as about 70% of an adult.

Can I buy only part of the list?

Yes. Lower any quantity to zero before adding to cart, or add items one at a time from their product pages.

Is this medical or nutrition advice?

No. Calorie targets are general planning estimates. Anyone with medical needs, infants, or special diets should check with their doctor.
